Epically Awesome Blog Award!!
Wow....I was nominated for another blog award! What a lovely surprise! It still amazes me that there are people out there who take time to read the mental meanderings of a middle-aged, witchy, fat chick! I am blessed....and I do indeed know it! Thanks so much and hugs to darling Vickie at Aoibheal's Lair for this honor!
And now, the rules:
The Epically Awesome Award of Epic Awesomeness. (That just sounds so cool...I love it!)
1. Display the award on your page -
2. Link back to the person who nominated you -

4. Nominate 10 other bloggers and link them back to your post-
Well, already took care of #1 and #2...so let's get to #3...
Ten Things about Me!
-I have no kids and never wanted any. I am devoutly Childfree.
-My mom passed away from a stroke on October 19, 2012 and my father passed from a stroke on March 19, 2013...5 months to the day...Kinda tough going for me right now...
-My only pet right now is a nearly 17 year old cat who rules like the Grand Dame she is...
-I am a solitary Witch...I follow an eclectic path and am always striving to learn about other paths and practices
-I am a plus sized/curvy gal with a love for retro/vintage fashion
-I adore Dia de los Muertos art!
-Some people say their weakness is white flour and sugar...for me, it's salt and grease! Fried chicken, mac n' cheese, etc....comfort food is my downfall but what a way to go!
-I got my first tattoo when I was 42 and now (at 47) I have 5 and plan to get more!
-I got married when I was 45...it's never too late to find love!
-My office is organized but my home is cluttered...I am constantly struggling to find balance...but I HATE housework!
And now, the links to 10 other bloggers you should absolutely check out:
Awesome....now pay it forward kids...go visit some of these awesome blogs and show some love. And once again, Vickie...hugs to you sister for being the wonderful woman you are!
I feel the same way about kids. I raised my nephew and it was lovely. I enjoy seeing my boyfriend's daughter grow up--that's perfect for me.
ReplyDeleteEl Dia de los Muertos art? Woman! Where have you been my entire life? I hope to see you over at Pagan Culture for All Hallow's Grim 2013, in October. It's always full of skully beauties. And you just missed Witches in Fiction 2013... to the Bone, I think you would have liked it.
Congrats on getting the award, especially from Vickie; she rocks!
